I am a bartender and chef by trade. Since 2003 my hard work has afforded me a bevy of culinary opportunities allowing me to live and work in Los Angeles, New York City, and Shanghai. With three restaurant openings and the challenges involved, I've gained a great deal of knowledge and valuable food & beverage experience. In the spring of this year I've decided to check out comedy as an additional means of self expression, take a break from kitchens, and to further my personal growth. With any luck I hope to forge another platform for entertaining people. So far I've found it pretty tough to be funny, but its been much easier to laugh at everything else....

Most recently I've moved back to Los Angeles where I will be opening a modern Chinese concept, STAY LUCKY. Alongside partners Jon Tien and Brian Leung, STAY LUCKY hopes to create an atmosphere for truly craveable Chinese classics to shine. We will be using the absolute best ingredients to honor our recipes, which we have sourced from all across China. We are currently doing a Sunday afternoon pop up at Hayden Wine Bar in Culver City, featuring a few of our Shui Jiao, or Boiled Dumplings.
